The State of the Art in Computer Interfaces

This interface is very much hand-centric, but it will spark your imagination for things that "could" be done in the future for quadriplegics. This demo show how easily things can be moved around using gestures. Head-mice and other tools can do gestures just as easily as hands so this could alter the way pwds interact with computers.

A ROBOT suit has been developed that could help PWDs

Dubbed HAL, or hybrid assistive limb, HAL is the result of 10 years' work by Yoshiyuki Sankai of the University of Tsukuba in Japan, and integrates mechanics, electronics, bionics and robotics in a new field known as cybernics.
