UN disabled rights treaty said nearly finished

Uhmm, Very interesting! I wonder how much people will comply with this treaty, Wonder?
U.N. members should finish drafting a treaty to protect the rights of the world's 650 million disabled people by the end of next week, the diplomat leading the negotiations said on Tuesday.

Wearable satnav system to help blind people handle new terrain

I read the article it sounds pretty cool. Just imagine, How a blind people will feel will feel to almost be able to see where they going and how the terrain look like.. for the first time.
This computerized tracking system is being developed to help them navigate in unfamiliar territory. The prototype system guides the user through a cluttered landscape such as a city street by giving audio cues. Awesome tech!
