Few people are familiar with the condition known as alexithymia, yet it is not so rare a thing. Alexithymia is condition where a person seems devoid of emotion because they are functionally unaware of their emotions.

This article is extremely interesting. It just may be that Alexithymia can explain the behavior of some people I know. Up until now, I have been perplexed in trying to understand what's going on. Try reading this. Good stuff.
